A CHANGE IS GONA COME

Hello, Hello, Hello.

Well another day and almost another week is over and what breakthrough have you had this week?
What has motivated you “ if anything” to change your life?

I know when I started my life of self discovery, five years ago I always had a vision of what it was I wanted to accomplish, but I was not too sure of how to go about achieving that goal, all I knew was, I needed to feel better about my life and the decisions I had made. I discovered that the expectation I had of myself was far greater than others of me, which meant I needed to give myself permission to grow.

Knowing and understanding that it was okay to make mistakes. That acceptance and forgiveness where not just words.  they come to life when  you give them meaning, by embracing them as I did with my very being, by accepting who I am understanding my life’s journey and to forgive myself with all the mistakes I have made and will continue to do as I forge on with my life.

So for those of you who believe you are not good enough, pretty enough, slim enough, or ambitious enough. I dare you to look in the mirror and say “I am significant  and whatever changes I need to make in my life begins today “

Do you believe in greatness?

Do you believe there is a light within you waiting to shine, you just need to tap into it?

If you are lacking in self confidence and low self esteem, if it is stopping you from living the life you truly deserve.

CHANGE STARTS WITH YOU.

Things mama used to say by Lorlett hudson

The seminar was definately an experience that should not be forgotten.

I spoke of confidence building and the myths that surrounds it.
Confidence is a skill that can be learnt just like; learning to drive a car, or play a game, once you acquire that skill the unthinkable is possible.
For all of you who attended continue to
           discover who you are.

Conflict

 And Dealing With Difficult People.

Hi,
I have something to share with you. What a daunting task it was setting up my first workshop. There is genuinely a lot of work involved in the preparation, which I became aware of very quickly.

The availability of a room and the preparation of it, also the material that was going to be used. The biggest one of all was the last minute cancellations. It taught me a lot about acceptance, how to manage the work involved differently, and the perseverance, and that led me to continue by going ahead with the workshop. Wonderful music was played creating an ambiance. I was also heavily supported by a group of wonderful people who helped make the day achievable. The young members of the workshop acted out a play to project conflict and difficult people in a work environment. They were absolutely amazing, received positive feedback and applause.

The script was written by a young, aspiring writer and highlighted key aspects of conflict in a work environment. The activity brought together all of those who attended and thereafter the discussion which enabled us to interact with each other on another level, by stripping ourselves down to understanding more about who we all are as individuals, and together as a  group.

For those of you who missed such a wonderful opportunity, I'm going to repeat the workshop on the 26 January 2013 from 9:30-1:00pm.
